Atlassian apps are good and cheap but only if your company is really small. Easy to use only when you discover how to manage the Jira projects and permissions. Worked for me after a while.
We use the Atlassian self hosted stack. If we ever get over 10 employees we should definitely be able to afford a few thousand for some software. Iāve liked the stack, my only qualm is the constant need to update Jira manually. Then I get some off the wall errors I have to work out. I do this once about every 6 months or so.
So guys, how about that EOL announcement on hipchat and stride for 2019? Looks like it ticked off a lot of people.
Con: my HipChat integration coding going to waste
Pro: at least I didnāt get to code the Stride integration as well
Other than that, I literally couldnāt care less.
