DNS Zones in WHM

Me doing simple questions about cPanel again.

In the Edit DNS Zone section I see 3 zones (as example):

host.mydomain.com
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com

Is it normal to have them listed there?
All of them have wrong A records pointing to old IPs and could be the cause of some domains not resolving from time to time. And I don’t know if I should update them or delete them.

That’s normal to see an entry for your server hostname, and an entry for ns1/ns2. It’s not a bad idea to update those to reflect their correct values. I’ve run into some strange issues in the past with OpenDNS specifically, where an invalid entry at inactive nameservers (still had GLUE records, but weren’t set as the domain’s active NS) caused intermittent resolution issues.
