It’s not bad. If I recall, it’s available as an image on the SoYouStart storage line.

It’s not bad. I use it on a machine in the garage for creating network shares, backup space on. Probably nowhere near its full potential, but it’s handy if you want a web interface for seeing usage/SMART data/creating shares etc.

Its nice if you don’t need all the stuff from freenas. + it runs on lower specs.

Yeah mine is running on an old Pentium D with 2gb RAM - the OS drive is an IDE drive to leave an extra SATA port free for storage drives lol.
OMV is a pretty good thing. I use it personally, works fine
