Well technically, I am a student at university and work part-time in a language/media center at Uni. At home I work on Webdesign/Dev/Linux stuff

I’m surprised nobody uses at least one monitor in a vertical setup, for browsing
I do this 
My primary monitor is a 24" 4K display which is horizontal, but my secondary display is a 24" 1080P display which is vertical. I keep messaging applications and my general browsing windows on it.

this should be mainstream, but most people seem to enjoy whitespace next to their websites
combined with scrolling down a lot
just pickup a nice 10" tablet and browse in portrait mode to experience the difference
