Who wouldn’t want to offer Super Master Uber Deluxe Mega Reseller cPanel packages?

I’ve yet to find a host that advertises “alpha reseller” plans that isn’t a total steaming pile of shit.

I never liked this kind of software tbh, because it brought nothing good to the hosting industry (only more overselling and more low-quality hosts to the market). And their decision to fully shut it down might bring a lot of pain to hosting providers that offered “master/alpha/whatever reseller” as their primary service. They should at least continue to re-issue licenses for existing customers and push updates for critical bugs, so the customers have enough time to migrate to something similar. But I doubt they’ll do that…
