Just wanted to say this: The fact that so many people liked my post where I finally succeeded in changing the drive just goes to show how awesome a community this is. So many people were following each of my steps, providing guidance and help where needed. Some of you I’ve now known for years, some seem fairly new to me. Let’s keep up that great community spirit! BTW suggested ( sort of told him it was his single chance) my brother to get a Crucial Mx5xx . He now knows how to resurrect a decent laptop of his wife .
