Went through hell with a retailer because even though my email on record was .ch they manually sent all fraud verification through to the .com instead
I use .ac for my personal email and it constantly gets questioned. .net on my main business email causes problems every now and then. Last week someone at Vodafone told me I could only use .com .co.uk or hotmail, gmail, and yahoo addresses.
