I use ADATA and Kingston cause I’m a cheapo, and these tend to be cheaper than similar alternatives from other brands in where I live. Though, SSD pricing is so weird here ( Malaysia ). When I bought my 512GB ADATA SSD, it was $15 cheaper than the current price. About a month ago I bought a SSD for an old laptop, and 256GB top-tier SSD comes up cheaper than a mid-tier one. Do price fluctuate that much in other countries?

With Covid, prices are sort of weird in Canada at least. Though have mostly stabilized the last little bit as we mostly have a handle on covid for now.
When you compare 7200 RPM drives, is there much difference between Enterprise SATA and SAS drives? They are often sold at similar prices.
Anecdotally SAS are more reliable, but I’m interested to hear what people see in practise.
