Hetzner SB dropped to 25.21 for a i7 2600.
Also something happend yesterday:
Intel Core i7-7700, 64GB , 1TB for 15.13EUR
Its gone already but nice try Hetzner.
F***! i7-7700 with 64GB of RAM for 15 euros? Damn, now that’s prem!
Sorry, that was a typing mistake. The person who entered the information for that server into the server auction left of a digit. I think someone fixed it while you were trying to buy it. We are really sorry for the miscommunication. --Helena
I figured as much – not even Hetzner would sell such a server for 15 euros
Anyway, welcome to HostedTalk (cough HostBalls) Helena and I hope you enjoy your stay here!
What a bummer, it even came with a GTX 1080 inside.
Here’s a riddle for today: What’s got 10 drive slots, 32 cores, “Roman” architecture, up to 512 GB of DDR4 ECC RAM, and begins with a “D”…? Why, it’s the DX181, of course!
One of our guys in the dev team was nice enough to answer my questions for an interview in our newsroom. --Katie
It’s associated with high fashion, bankers and businessmen, vampires and witches, bikers and rockers – the color black. Now you can have a black background with Cloud Console’s dark mode.
Here’s a preview. --Katie
The theme going dark, in my dark themed twitter <3
You asked for it - and we listened! Hetzner Cloud now offers you the newest generation of CPU optimized servers with AMD EPYC 2nd Gen processors.
Profit from rapid and parallel processing with powerful multi-core performance at an unbeatable price. hetzner.com/cloud#pricing
Happy belated Easter! --Katie
Awesome… (order… hint hint)
Could the adjective you’re searching for be …epic…? --Katie
Is it possible to “upgrade” the cloud machines that are already deployed?
Hi @Poli – I believe it is, especially if you are scaling up to a larger package. You should be able to click on your server in Cloud Console and from there navigate to the point that says “Rescale”. And I think the CPX servers will be an option there. If you have trouble doing that, please open a support ticket via Cloud Console, and a team member will help you. --Katie
seems like you can rescale between old and new models. the only limitation still is the disk size. that’s awesome. about to deploy an instance to have a geekbench…
Any benchmarks around already ?
CX31 (old) for reference:

about to rescale to a CXP31 and post the result as well…
thanks for your reply will try.
@Falzo intressting but there is not the same number of cores?
Between what CPU is the one called Intel Xeon (i was always wondering)
And what is the new ones?
there is also an even smaller instance with only two epyc cores but that also has only 2GB RAM and 40G disk, so I decided to bench whats closer to the already running CX31 above
here are also some number for CXP31, which is 3.50 more then CX31, but offers 4 cores already:

so far the single → multi score scales pretty good I’d say. love it already, because the new options fit perfectly in the line of offers and fill in blanks of combinations with cpu power vs memory…
